Odds are that no one reads my writing. But the fact is, it doesn’t matter. Not even a little. I came into this world to do something. You did too. I believe in destiny; and destiny demands both the good and the bad.  And I’ll take the perceived bad along with the good for the chance of seeing a part of me, or you, or the universe, that I’ve only caught glimpses of in my sleep. Oh yea, I’ve had dreams. But not the kind of dreams that we speak of in common parlance. I’ve dreamed images of self-destruction. The Daemon Pledge

Here at Daemon we are rethinking the relationship between corporation and customer. It’s our belief that America is and has been under the tyranny of a very harmful ideology: “maximizing profit.” In strict observance of the corporate dogma, CEOs, politicians, leaders, news anchors, and even artists have submitted to the belief that all is fair when chasing the mighty dollar. Daemon will not partake. Daemon pays its’ employees well; makes the highest quality goods in the U.S.; and sells great products in pursuit of life, liberty and happiness for all. Too many corporations are cutting corners and what’s worse, they are dehumanizing the labor force and are driving a hard bargain with workers. Americans deserve the dignity of good work....

MAGA & the Irrational

“Make America Great Again.” “We will win again.” With those simple words, Donald J. Trump, convinced a large portion of the American electorate to vote MAGA. But, to win, really, that was all it took? The three lettered word is important, no doubt, but in 2016 it had the vitality and force of an 800lbs gorilla. “Winning,” clubbed everything sensible to death; it bashed critical thinking, tolerant debate and reasonable behavior into a lifeless pulp. All presidential norms were erased nearly overnight. And as we head into the 2018 midterm elections, we have little reason to believe that the nonsense will stop.
